What are the exit options after a career in an expert network?

I know people who have gone on to a multitude of careers. Being in an expert network, you learn lots about all kinds of industries (imagine cracking multiple HBS cases every week).
The expert network industry is at the intersection of Talent Management/HR and finance/investments. Many former expert network professionals go down either path, either working in talent management or finance/ financial research.
Quite a few have become entrepreneurs as well.
